I believe the therapeutic relationship can be a life changing healing tool and I am honored to be apart of each clients journey.  I am passionate about creating a calm, open- minded, and safe space for each unique client, as they venture onto their path of optimum well-being. I enjoy working with both children, teens, and adults that are seeking recovery from anxiety, depression, and trauma. Along with everyone else at Kindred Tree, I provide lgbtq+ affirming care.

I have over ten years of experience in the human services industry starting with  working in recreational therapy within the gerontology population. For the past five years I have dedicated my career by working with varied and diverse populations.  I first began my mental health career working as a mental health case manager serving adults in Frederick County.  I then transitioned into a role of therapist at a community mental health agency serving children, teen and adults. Most recently I have worked as an emergency room social worker providing therapeutic support and resources to patients and families.

I  received my Bachelor of Social Work from Hood College and my Master of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore with a specialization in clinical behavioral health.

I am an intuitive, empathetic, client centered therapist who pulls from a variety of eclectic holistic and evidenced based practices to best meet my clients needs.

As a Frederick native I find great joy and honor in helping community members navigate life challenges and finding their paths of healing and happiness.

In my free time you can find me outdoors either hiking, being in and around water kayaking, swimming or paddle-boarding. I also am an athlete and stay active with playing softball, riding my peloton, and running.
