I am a passionate and enthusiastic creative therapist who loves to help children, teen, and adults connect deeply with themselves. As a licensed art therapist with both my MA in Art Therapy and BFA in Studio Art, I support others in accessing healing through expressive arts. I believe in taking a humanistic, social justice, and person-centered approach as an art therapist. As a therapist, I allow the therapeutic process to meet the unique needs of each child, teen or adult. There’s a quote by Mako Fujimura that says, stewardship of creativity leads to “generative work and a generative culture”. Using the method of "art as therapy", I hope to steward individuals of all ages and diagnoses in resolving their conflict through varied artistic mediums and techniques. Tapping into one’s creative expression not only heals the self, but begins to heal the world around us too.

I have  a diversity of experience working with adults and children expressing emotional, behavioral and learning challenges related to trauma, anxiety, foster care/adoption, depression, grief and loss. I also have in depth experience providing creative based therapies to neurodivergent people and those experiencing traumatic brain injuries. Through the rehabilitative act of art making, I believe in helping people find healing and relief in symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.

In my spare time I love teaching art, painting, baking, and spending time with my son at the park and playing with trucks.
